Week 6 results!!!

Question:
What new foods or recipes have you tried since starting this. Does anyone have any new low fat recipes they would like to share with the group??

My new favorite food is sweet potatoes - I cut them up into large fries and bake them in the oven with a little evoo and seasoning salt. Jakson loves these - Josh tolerates them.

  2. Dennis is doing great! Maybe Lent will help me since I am giving up sweets! We'll see. I'll probably just find something else to stick in my mouth! About 6 weeks left! Who will be the biggest loser????

  5. Well, Dennis doesn't like it, but Schwans has some awesome garlic shrimp that I cook on the George and stir into the Schwans mixed veggies (stir-fried). Those veggies have edamame (immature soybeans) in them, and I love those! And soy is so good for someone my age... Our meals are very plain: no gravy; hardly ever any potatoes; no gooey salads; no dessert...
